Atomised: the Web Design Co-operative

The Project

Right on the back of Atomised's completion of the Moojuice Records site Moojuice asked us to build them a new site for a spin-off music services company they were launching called MILK (Moojuice Records Independent Label Knowledge). The new company is an extension of the main record label and offers music services usually only available to signed artists to independent artists and can handle the full record launch process and marketing. Moojuice wanted the site to connect with the world at large and wanted an easy-navigable site that got the message across. We set about designing a fluid design that expanded and shrunk with the browser window. Half the page was given over to the new MILK logo that our own Al Macmillan had been commissioned to design and half was the content pages. The homepage showed the latest blog post and stylish easy navigation opened up the consistent About, Services, Blog Archive, FAQ & Contact sections. The site is powered by the Textpattern CMS which is ideally suited to rapid PHP blog development.
